Industrial Refrigeration Reclaiming and Disposal
HCFC Refrigerant Phase-Out
The revised EC Ozone Regulation requires the complete ban of virgin HCFC refrigerants including R22 and R408A gases by the end of 2014. It will be illegal to use HCFC gases like R22 from 1st January 2015.
As well as use in many air conditioning systems, R22 refrigerant is commonly used in the UK food, drink & catering industries but also in many other businesses. Typically other applications include supermarket refrigeration systems, blast chillers, and cold stores.
If you would like advice about the removal and disposal of R22 gases from your premises or about decommissioning your R22 equipment please contact us today.
At Staycool Refrigeration Services we offer a wide range of refrigeration, reclaiming and disposal services. Our company is a licensed hazardous waste carrier broker experienced in the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous gases, combustibles, contaminated and other potentially dangerous substances.
